Nübe Haüs is a queer, woman led, collective in the desert. Here, clouds are not a passing shadow but a refuge, a gift from the sky that softens the sun’s relentless fire. Nube, Spanish for cloud, Turkish for soul or center. Nübe is a word that carries both physical relief and spiritual depth, a reminder of vision, prophecy, and breath.

Haüs calls us back to home: to belonging, chosen family, and the shared structures we build together. It is both shelter and lineage, a place of gathering, of art, of memory. Earth is our home, and we at Nube Hause respect, care for and protect her. Nübe Haüs is commited to upholding the values of stewardship, generosity, solidarity, justice and sustainability.

Together, Nübe Haüs holds space for joy, creativity, and movement. We acknowledge the Indigenous roots of mestizo peoples across the Americas, and honor the histories of migration that tie us north, central, and south. We live in the knowledge that we are linked, that man is one, and that unity is both sacred and powerful.
